Natural gas is odorized with a rotten egg smell so leaks can be detected quickly. If you smell gas inside or outside your home, take action right away. Do not attempt to locate the leak yourself.

New gas service connection information

A tap fee is required for all new natural gas service connections to our system. This one-time fee covers the cost of connecting your property to the gas main. A refundable deposit is also required at the time of new service activation.

Call Before You Dig

Alabama law requires notification before any digging

Before any digging project — whether a fence post, landscaping, or major excavation — you are required by law to call 811 at least two business days in advance. This free service will mark the location of underground utility lines on your property and help prevent dangerous and costly accidents.
